This page explains what mamasitas.com collects when you visit and the choices you have.

What you send us

The website has no customer accounts, no checkout and no forms that send your details to us. The newsletter box in the footer isn’t active yet and doesn’t record email addresses.

Our inquiry links open your own email app, addressed to info@msita.com with a subject filled in. The distributor page also fills in questions to answer, and its Copy form button puts that template on your clipboard. The website doesn’t see or store what you write: you send it from your email app.

Site search runs on our own pages, and your search words become part of the page address (for example /search?q=adobo) so you can reload or share a search. A staff-only page asks for a shared password.

Analytics and advertising: your choice

Two kinds of optional tools can run on this site. On the main site, meaning every page except the regional ones under mamasitas.com/regional, neither loads until you allow it:

  • Analytics: Google Analytics, to see which pages people read and how quickly they load.
  • Advertising measurement: the Meta Pixel and the TikTok Pixel, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure visits from our social media and ads.

On your first visit to the main site a notice asks you to allow or decline. You can change your choice any time with Privacy choices at the foot of each main-site page, or with the button below. If you withdraw, the page reloads without those tools and the site deletes the cookies they set on mamasitas.com. Cookies that Google, Meta or TikTok keep on their own websites are managed there.

If you allow analytics

Google Analytics receives the address and title of each page you view, the page you came from, and page speed measurements, including the kind of page element involved. Before sending, the site removes anything after the “?” in an address except campaign tags (utm_ codes), ad click IDs and recipe filters. Google Analytics sets its own cookies on mamasitas.com: _ga and _ga_8LLVDTH3YG.

If you allow advertising measurement

Meta and TikTok receive the address of each page you view, read by their pixels as it appears in your browser (including any part after a “#”), and handle that information under their own privacy policies. With advertising measurement allowed, the site also lets Google Analytics use Google’s advertising features, Google signals and ad personalization, where they are switched on in our Google Analytics account. Tag Manager and the two pixels set cookies on mamasitas.com: _fbp, _gcl_au, _ttp, _tt_enable_cookie, ttcsid and ttcsid_D7CBR93C77UFT36K5N00.

Where these tools never load on the main site

The search page, the staff page, and any page whose address carries other text after the “?”.

Regional pages

The regional version of the site (addresses starting mamasitas.com/regional) doesn’t use these choices yet: it loads Google Analytics and the Meta and TikTok pixels on every visit, including its search page, and shows no privacy choices.

What the site stores in your browser

  • Cookie ms_site: remembers whether you picked the regional or global version of the site. It lasts one year and is set only when you make that choice.
  • Local storage ms_site_choice: copies that choice, with the time, so your other open tabs follow it.
  • Local storage ms_privacy_choice: your analytics and advertising choice and when you made it. It stays on this device.

Hosting

Vercel hosts the website and handles every request to it, including the address requested and technical connection details such as your IP address.
