Barbecue Satay Style

Tip: Serve barbecues with Mama Sita’s Java BBQ Sauce as a dipping sauce. Variation: Sirloin steak, lamb, shrimps, scallops, calamari or fish fillet may also be used.

  1. Reserve Mama Sita’s Barbecue Marinade mixed with oil for basting the meat later.
  2. In a bowl, marinate pieces of chicken meat with Mama Sita’s Barbecue Marinade for at least 3 hours.
  3. Thread the chicken pieces onto each bamboo skewer.
  4. Grill over live charcoal for about 4-5 minutes on each side or to desired doneness.
  5. Baste barbecue on each side with the prepared basting sauce.
