Sinampalukang Manok

Chicken cooked with the good sour taste of young sampalok leaves and Mama Sita’s Sinigang sa Sampalok Mix.

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat oil. Sauté garlic, ginger, onion and tomato.
  2. As the onions start to wilt, add the chicken pieces and stir-fry.
  3. Increase the heat and add the Mama Sita’s Sinigang sa Sampalok Mix and water. Cover and bring to a boil. Cook until the chicken is done.
  4. Add the long green beans, young tamarind leaves and green pepper. Cook until the vegetables are done.
  5. Serve with patis.
