Sinampalukang Manok

Chicken cooked with the good sour taste of young sampalok leaves and Mama Sita’s Sinigang sa Sampalok Mix.

  1. In a saucepan, heat oil. Sauté garlic, ginger, onions and tomatoes.
  2. As the onions and tomatoes start to wilt, add chicken pieces and season with patis. When the chicken is almost brown, add water, cover and bring to a boil. Add Mama Sita’s Sinigang sa Sampalok Mix and mix well.
  3. Add sitaw, young tamarind leaves and long green chilli peppers. Cover and cook until the vegetable are done. Remove from heat and serve hot.
